OUR FIRST HORSE
Une De La Seniere
The horse that started the Millennium Racing Club journey and gave us our first winner.
In the summer of 2019, our journey began with an exciting filly named Une De La Seniere. Based at the newly constructed Ravenswell Farm in the heart of the Cotswolds, the French bred filly is trained by the ever impressive, and bang in form, Fergal O'Brien.
Already a winner of a €15,000 pot at Senonnes-Pouance in France, Une De La Seniere made a comfortable start to her career on British soil, making her debut on Tingle Creek day at Sandown. Team O'Brien have lofty ambitions with her ahead of what should be a thrilling 2020/21 National Hunt season.
By a Group 2 winner, she is an exuberant filly with a natural talent for jumping. She had a tough time over in France after her win, finishing a respectable 8th at Auteuil, but has bulked up plenty since then and is really starting to find her feet in the UK. Initially arriving in the UK as one of the highest rated four-year-olds in training, it's been a rollercoaster experience finding her perfect conditions but the members have enjoyed every minute. One of the friendliest horses you'll meet, she's loved by all that visit Ravenswell and is always up for a bit of fuss.
She gave Millennium Racing Club members a 2020 to remember when recording our first win as a racing club at Leicester racecourse on the 29th of November. We knew all along she was full of ability, and seeing her streak clear of the field only confirmed this. Get involved with the original MRC superstar now!
